He began his medical journey at the prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai, where he earned his MBBS in 1995. He further specialized in Anaesthesiology, completing his MD from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum in 1998, followed by a DNB in Anaesthesia from the National Board of Examination in 1999.
