Over his 30-year career spread across India, Australia, UK and Maldives, he has profoundly shaped Neonatal Care by setting up Neonatal and Perinatal Centers that have touched the lives of thousands of Newborns and Children. Dr. Ninan’s pioneering work in Chennai is particularly noteworthy. He was the driving force behind the establishment of the Department of Neonatology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRMC), a trailblazing initiative that earned the first National Neonatology Forum (NNF) Level 3 Accreditation in the country. His efforts laid the foundation for one of India’s most respected Fellowship programs in Neonatology, creating a legacy of excellence that continues to shape the field. He also played a pivotal role in the establishment of a 65-bed children’s hospital in VHS in Chennai, a charitable institution that significantly contributes to Paediatric Care.

Dr. Ninan’s influence extends into Academia and Professional Development. As the Director of Neubon Healthcare, he continues to lead efforts in establishing and enhancing Neonatology and Paediatric services across Multi-Specialty Hospitals.
